Nothing good gets away

Over the years I have reread the letter John Steinbeck wrote to his oldest son advising him about how to handle love...

Steinbeck's words tie together to offer poignant, timeless advice that is just as relevant now as it was when he wrote the letter.

Steinbeck's thoughts on love...

"The first kind can make you sick and small and weak but the second can release in you strength, and courage and goodness and even wisdom you didn’t know you had."

Enjoy reading the full letter...
and remember friends...

2 enthusiastic thumbs WAY up for this post...thank you for this gem, Eri. And thank you for being the sister and best friend that you are, who always knows exactly how to "sing my song back to me", when I may forget the words here and there. :) Love you XOXO
