Staying Grounded: Accepting the Shadow

We live in a time that makes it very challenging to stay grounded. With so much pain and suffering it feels easiest for our energy to move out from our bodies and float up to the ethers. Although it seems easier to float and not feel things, it is not healthy for our souls. As human beings it is critical that we stay connected to community, the earth, the night and day, to our light, to our shadows and to our fears. Self-acceptance is the breeding ground for self-love.

So disregard the labels - trust your gut and know that it is ok that things change, pain comes up, love moves in, and life flows out. There is light at the end of every tunnel and so much beauty to celebrate if we acknowledge and embrace the good, the bad and the ugly.
Strengthen the will -stay grounded & by all means beautiful friend trust your gut!!!

Great post! It is hard to investigate our own shadows...actually it sucks, but you totally have to do it if you want to fully love yourself and fully love others.
