Perspective

Much of the secret to enjoying life is having perspective. To be able to step back from a messy situation and observe the true root that is fueling it. A lot of times perspective is the greatest tool to be equipped with, the key in deciphering much of life's complexities. Think about it, every day when you say hello to someone on the street and they say hello back, or they look away, or better yet, sneer at you, it's all usually dependent on that person's past few days, weeks, years. They are reacting based on their personal mood or circumstances, which have nothing to do with you directly. Compassion is an incredible gift for those who have it and understand how to use it. This doesn't mean don't have boundaries, it's just more a long the lines of a mathematical interpretation of, "don't take things personally."
