Like an other-worldly gift, an ethereal voice is a source of calm, stillness and tranquility - a pause in every day life.

Few are blessed with a heavenly sweet-sounding melody and notes that travel to blue skies only to return back to earth.

I remember my mother first playing Phoebe Snow's "Poetry Man" for me when I was a young girl. Snow's airy lilt slid into the walls and transformed the energy of the house- coloring my childhood with peace and imagination.
