“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.”

Some quotes for you...
"Because one believes in oneself, one doesn't try to convince others. Because one is content with oneself, one doesn't need others' approval. Because one accepts oneself, the whole world accepts him or her."
- Lao Tzu
"We must be willing to let go of the life we've planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us."
- Joseph Campbell
"It is impossibly to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all."
- J.K. Rowling

In honor of the Autumnal Equinox
Ah, we kick off the Autumn Equinox (Sept. 23rd) with a quote:
"Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns." ~George Eliot
Make sure you get out there and go apple picking, make a scarecrow, carve pumpkins and take advantage of this beautiful time of year.
Soon the leaves will be bright orange and red and Halloween will be on it's merry way. So enjoy the crisp entrance of this magical season, find a vintage scary movie and some warm cider and cozy up with friends and family - here is one of my favorite classic scenes from Beetlejuice:

Quotes :) from J.K. Rowling
"We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are."
"...people find it far easier to forgive others for being wrong than being right."
"Age is foolish and forgetful when it underestimates youth."
"The truth is a beautiful and terrible thing, and should therefore be treated with caution."
"It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends."
"Harry, suffering like this proves you are still a man! This pain is part of being human … the fact that you can feel pain like this is your greatest strength."
